By default, we use the "yes, but" method, i.e. ins

By default, we use the "yes, but" method, i.e. instead of acknowledging the other person's viewpoint, we immediately invalidate it and push our own opinion on them. As a consequence, many people go into "fight or flight" mode, their ego barriers are put up and their vibrational level falls off a cliff.
We could do so much better by using the "yes, and" method. The key is to listen to the other person and understand their viewpoint first before reacting. If you find their point unclear, ask for clarification in a polite way. And when you are ready to respond with your own opinion, try to build on top of their viewpoint by finding the overlap. This works brilliantly by saying "yes, and" instead of "yes, but".
The "yes, but" method causes ego battles, a collapse of the vibration and narrows the field of consciousness. In contrast, the "yes, and" method causes mutual upliftment, a rising vibration and expanding field of consciousness. It is truly powerful! The link to subscribe to our Mailist in the bio.
