Finding a way out by letting go

Finding a way out by letting go

When we feel like we carry an immense burden all alone and there is no way out, we can let go completely to make room for divine assistance to stream into our lives.

Do you know this heavy feeling in your chest, when you feel as if the weight of the whole world is pushing down on you? Or situations where you are so overwhelmed and powerless that don’t know what to do anymore? Then I will provide you with some steps to find your way out!

A way out of the dark forest

Imagine a scene, where you are walking through a dark forest where there is so much vegetation and plants that it is difficult to move forward. The ambiance is dark, cold and confusing as you are struggling to fight your way forward, to find a way out. The more you struggle through the heavy branches, the deeper you enter into the forest. You are getting tired and desperate, as everything you attempt seems to fail. In your desperation, you sit down under a huge oak tree which must be several hundred years old at least. It has large roots, which are forming what looks like a seat. You sit down on those roots, leaning at the tree. It feels as if the tree is protecting you like a mother is protecting her child. You close your eyes and breath in deeply, observing all sounds within you and around you. The chatter of your mind, which is constantly worrying about forcing a way out, starts to recede like ocean tides and suddenly you become aware of the variety of sounds all around you. There are dozens of different sounds which you can distinguish and it almost feels as if there are subtle messages transmitted all around you. While you are sitting there, enjoying this peacefully serene ambiance, you suddenly realize that sunlight is touching your face. In front of you, there is what appears to be a clearing inside the forest. After standing up you follow the gentle sunlight and walk towards the clearing, where you suddenly realize that there is a path. It has been there all along but you were not able to perceive it earlier, as you were struggling through the branches. You finally have found a path leading you towards your destination! While walking on this path, you enjoy the diverse scenery all around you and are grateful for this beautiful journey.

Sometimes when we slow down, a way out is mysteriously appearing in front of us.

God is a waymaker

There always are millions of opportunities within our lives. What is counter-intuitive though, oftentimes it is necessary to let go, stop struggling and open ourselves up to allow higher energies into our lives. We often feel like we have to carry immense burdens all alone and nobody is helping us. This however is not true, it is merely self-inflicted suffering or punishment. Once we let go completely, our life will shift for the better and we will also receive new ideas, perspectives and opportunities. For instance, during deep meditations or walks in nature, we often suddenly receive flashes of inspiration containing such excellent ideas we could not come up with in hours of intense thinking. And sometimes if we have a lot of struggles in our lives, help is already waiting for us to receive. We need to open ourselves up, shift perspectives, and actually accept the help that is coming our way. Another aspect is our readiness to unconditionally help others. The more we assist others to better their lives, the more help in return we will receive, sometimes in very strange ways! It is as if the universe redirects resources to those who are affecting the most positive change on this beautiful planet Earth.

You are

Waymaker, miracle worker

Promise keeper, light in the darkness

My God, that is who You are

You are

Waymaker, miracle worker

Promise keeper, light in the darkness

My God, that is who You are
